DriftAnchor builds small Android apps that carry everything they need inside the download. No account, no server, nothing to wait for. The current release is Zodialu, a guide to the zodiac.
How we work
Three things every build has to pass
A small studio can only be trusted if it is predictable. These are the constraints Zodialu was written inside, and the next app will be too.
The whole thing ships in the box
Every screen, every page of content and every asset is compiled into the APK. Opening the app in a tunnel gives you exactly what opening it on wi-fi does, because there is nothing to fetch.
Nothing is sold twice
No adverts, no unlocks, no subscription. You download it once and you have all of it, which keeps the design honest — there is no reason to hold anything back behind a wall.
Nothing is collected
There is no analytics library, no crash reporter and no advertising identifier in the build. We know how many people installed it and nothing whatsoever about them.
The app
Zodialu
A beautiful offline guide to the zodiac. All twelve signs with their dates, elements, qualities, traits, strengths and weaknesses, each on its own richly styled page — plus compatibility between any two signs with a match rating, a glossary of the terms in plain language, bookmarks, and a daily message to check in on.
All of that lives in the app, where it belongs. What is below is just the sky it is built around: drag the ring, let it settle, and see which sign comes to the top.
